FGC Open Water Championships 2023
SFTL represented at 2023 FGC Open Water Championships last Saturday morning, April 8th, on the FIU Campus, N. Miami.
Congratulations and great swims on the most beautiful early morning for Open Water swimming! Representing SFTL were:
D'Ziah German=15-16 girls
Kavon Clarke=13-14 boys
Alistair Bass=13-+4 boys.
This was the Florida Gold Coast Open Water Championships. 175 Swimmers from 10-20 years of age.
This was the Qualifier for the Southern Zone Open Water Championships to take place June 2-4th in Seven Lakes, N. Carolina.
Top 6 in each age group advance.
All 3 swam the 5k.
Kavon finished 5th
Alistair finished 6th
D'Ziah finished 7th in their respective age groups.
