Location: Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Center (501 Seabreeze Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316)

Who: ANYONE interested in becoming a USMS Certified Official

  • No competitive swimming background or officiating experience required

​In-Person Clinic Registration:

  • click HERE to register for the in-person clinic on May 30th
    • ​no cost to register for the in-person clinic
    • Deadline to register: Tuesday May 26th

​Prerequisite:

  • PRIOR to the in-person clinic - complete the online USA Swimming Stroke & Turn Certification Course/Test (Open Book)
    • ​Those interested in becoming a Starter must also complete the Starter Certification Course/Test

  • ​participants must be at least 18yr of age

​Cost:

  • initial $45 per course USA Swimming Course fee
  • HOWEVER, the FGC LMSC will reimburse $45 after an official works 2 meets in our LMSC​
    • ​the SFTL Booster Club will supplement with an additional $45 reimbursement for those that take both courses and work either (or both) of our SFTL Hosted events
      • ​June Krauser Meet (July 11-12) and/or Fall Classic (Nov 21-22)
